SVLK — Indonesian timber legality
SVLK (Standar Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu) is Indonesia’s timber legality assurance system — the national TLAS. It is the paper trail from the forest or the old house to the mill. For an importer it answers a narrow question: was this wood harvested and traded under Indonesian law? It is not FSC, and it is not an EUDR due-diligence statement. A V-Legal can be issued for each export lot under this licence.
